The Hummingbird Drum Circle will perform on the opening night. As described by their leader, the Hummingbird Drum Circle are members of a drum society, and these women push the boundaries of patriarchal norms to educate, empower, and resiliently revive indigenous ways of healing. They are focused on indigenous cultural production, social justice movements, and the continued uplift of all communities through ancestor, elders and women’s wisdom. Their intention is to be of service in all that is good and healing.
